IP CCTV Cameras Vs Conventional CCTV Cameras

However, before transferring the video, it needs to convert back the videos to analog so that it can be in a receptive form by the analog device like recorder or a video monitor. The conventional cameras do not require maintenance as they lack the built-in web servers and encoders. The recording or control functions are carried out through other devices.

IP cameras function nicely in well lighted conditions and have high definition capturing qualities. On the other hand, Conventional cameras do not have much lighting issues and capture motion excellently. Conventional cameras transfer the video data uncompressed whereas IP cameras compress the data before monitoring it.
